A Day in the Life:

1. Track analysis of quality control data from site.
2. Review installation of the Curtain Wall.
3. Investigate installation problems and coordinate with the Manufacturing, Design or Drafting Team.
4. Provide documentation and communicate reports/results to the Department Manager.
5. Carry out random inspection on site to ensure that the product meets the quality requirements.
6. Prepare non-conformance report found during inspections.
7. Prepare snag list report describing the non-conforming points and coordinate to project manager for corrective actions.
8. Perform re-inspection on rectified rejected panels.
9. Prepare request for inspection (RFI) when the works are completed and ready for inspection to the customer representative.
10. Coordinate with contractors and consultants regarding inspection comments.
11. Conduct and oversee actual site testing (water test; smoke test & acoustic test).
12. Perform joint inspections with the consultants and client representatives for final acceptance of the works.
13. Keep required quality control documents on file and updated.
14. All other duties assigned.

What You Bring:

1. Previous experience in curtain wall/architectural cladding considered a strong asset.
2. Previous experience reading and interpreting architectural drawings/shop drawings.
3. Strong communication and organization skills.
4. Strong PC skills and previous experience with AutoCAD an asset.

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 a year
