Location: 514 Carlingview Drive, Etobicoke, Ontario, M9W 5R3

Full-time Shift: Saturday to Wednesday/Thursday

Shift: Nights

Wage: $22.75/hour plus $1.50 night shift premium

Position: Team Member - Quality Control - Night Shift

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Conduct foreign material and GMP audits which can contribute to potential contamination
• Conduct process and quality checks (i.e. printing, kwik lok coding, right packaging, batch #, physical parameters, product consistency) on the line from mixing to shipping area
• Conduct metal detector checks
• Verify line operating standards compliance
• Retain samples
• Report any deviation and assist in Hold & Release procedure
• Participate in complaints and/or nonconformance investigations
• All other duties as assigned

ABOUT YOU:

• Post-secondary education in a food safety/quality related program
• 1 year experience in quality control in food manufacturing
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English
• Ability to partner with all levels of production from Operators to Supervisors
• Flexible and willing to work overtime when required
