Quality Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee Quality Compliance Analyst activities in Asia for assigned categories, including Preliminary Factory Audit, review of new development samples and quality control plan, take lead on review of pilot production and mass production, take care of pre-shipment inspection, handle quality complaints and investigations, support vendor development and improvement.
2. Develop and educate vendors to use quality tools like PFMEA and control plan on new product development projects and continuous improvement.
3. Develop and lead vendor training sessions to ensure quality systems are up-to-date and CTC quality program is understood.
4. Monitor and report on 3rd Party Service Providers activities to ensure they perform at or above their required service levels.
5. Act as Product Quality Assurance expert with PRO team, vendors, and Category Business Managers (CBM) in the Asian market.
6. Liaise with Canadian Tire Corporate (CTC) Home Office Quality Assurance team and other stakeholders to execute Product Quality activities.
7. Execute and monitor the certification of vendors for producing private label products for CTC, including the different tiers for brand quality levels.
8. Prepare and conduct the Product Quality kick off at PRO office in support of Merchandising buying trips.
9. Provide technical support to PRO merchandisers and CBM’s while on sourcing trips and during finalization.
10. Monitor and report on high-profile projects to ensure full visibility and vendor compliance to CTC direction with regards to product development, investigations, and corrective actions.
