Job Title: Quality Assurance and Data Analysis Specialist (QADAS)

Salary: CAD 30.31 to CAD 33.45 hourly
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and support program/department-level and corporate-level quality improvement initiatives.
- Apply QI methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, A3, Kaizen, and DMAIC to drive process improvements and enhance client outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement QI projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitor the progress and effectiveness of QI initiatives, providing ongoing support and expertise to teams.
- Prepare comprehensive reports that include tracking, trending, graphs, and analyses of client safety and QI program outcomes.
- Utilize statistical data analysis to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create and deliver presentations to various stakeholders using PowerPoint, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Ensure FYS data assets are of high quality, usable, and accessible to meet the analytical needs of the organization.
- Plan, organize, and participate in internal and external working groups and advisory committees.
- Implement data quality processes, governance, and effective use of tracking and management tools.
- Lead coordinator for Accreditation, ensuring adherence to accreditation standards in relation to quality assurance and evaluation of all areas of operation.
- Review existing evaluation tools and research evidence-informed tools informing effectiveness of services/programs.
- Analyze ChYMH and EMHware data.
- Implement and analyze evaluative tools, facilitating presentation of outcomes to relevant stakeholders with development of action plans to address areas of need/growth.
- Facilitate youth and caregiver focus groups.
- Participate in Caregiver Engagement initiatives.
- Engage in research and data collection for regional partnerships.
- Play a primary role in BI ministry submissions.
- Utilize social media and website management to improve the quality of care.
- Develop training materials in support of senior management that translate our quality improvement initiatives.
- Track and review internal BI with management.
- Evaluate DEI initiatives.
- Engage in special projects as assigned by the management.
Qualifications
Education and Skills
- Preference for Master’s in social work, Psychology, Psychotherapy, or relevant area of study; Bachelors with experience will be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Training and use of SPSS.
- ChYMH training and use is an asset.
- EMHware training and use is an asset.
- Experience in quality assurance and data analysis.
- Knowledge and use of evaluative tools for program evaluation purposes.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are assets.
- Independently motivated and productive, able to manage and prioritize across multiple projects and assignments.
- Team-oriented and dedicated to promoting team development, a positive work culture, and organizational health.
- Experience working collaboratively with clinicians, administrators, and policymakers.
- Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written, using software to analyze and present results.
- Knowledge of relevant data quality processes, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others internal and external to the organization.
