Job Description

• Develop, validate, and manage test cases and test scripts.
• Automate test suites where feasible, practical, and cost-effective, utilizing available tools and technology, primarily Katalon.
• Exercise necessary controls over testbeds, access, test facilities, and tools and testing support systems.
• Execute quality control (manual and automated) tests at the systems level, ranging over sanity, full functional coverage, integration, regression, and scalability & performance.
• Conduct testing in compliance with established procedures.
• Document discovered problems; perform analysis to assist with determination of a defect or bug; inter-work as required with internal functions on the communication and analysis efforts; and, perform re-test of solved and fixed problems.
• Capture test outcomes, document test plan results; and, issue summary test reports.
• Report status & progress of testing activity including regular review of problems and bugs/defects; escalate issues or situations affecting quality, progress, or schedule.
• Participate in UAT (User and Acceptance Testing) with Customers.
• Produce and maintain quality test documentation.
• Provide estimates and assessments to both Release Management and Project Management activities of planning, scheduling, and tracking.
• Provide input and recommendations with respect to risk analysis and release go/no-go decision-making.
• Ensure commitments to external or internal customers are met in a timely manner.
• Participate in setting standards, reviewing methodologies, and evaluating and improving processes for testing and verification.
• Solicit feedback in order to improve work products, testing services, test coverage, and effectiveness of testing.
• Provide expertise cross-functionally.
• Develop integrated strategies for improving client satisfaction.
• Seek out new avenues for building and maintaining cross-functional relationships.
