The Role

We have a 6 month term opportunity for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. Joining forces with Software QA, this Analyst will drive and influence the overall health of internal and external applications at Attabotics. The Software QA Analyst will identify defects throughout the stages of deployed testing and collaborate with the development and engineering teams to ensure design and software standards are achieved. Moreover, this new member will have exceptional communication and documentation skills to describe problems/risks identified and resolution steps taken.

What we need

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years in a Quality Assurance software development role
  • Experience with scripting and testing automation an asset
  • Strong ability to identify, record, document and track bugs
  • Experience in practical application of QA metrics and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Knowledge and experience with C#/.NET is an asset
  • Knowledge and experience with JavaScript & Razor an asset
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, git, Jira, Bitbucket, Sonar Qube and other such tools is an asset
  • Team oriented – collaborates well with others
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
