QC Specialist

Position: QC Specialist

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Industry: Manufacturing / Labels / Quality Control / Printing

Employment Term: Full Time / Permanent

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough inspection of components and finished products to ensure they meet the quality standards and inspection requirements.
2. Perform various tests and measurements using precision instruments and equipment.
3. Document and report any deviations from quality standards and work with the production teams to resolve issues.
4. Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and results.
5. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
6. Participate in continuous improvement activities.
7. Address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
8. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
9. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related field.
2. 2-5 years of experience in a quality control or similar role is preferred.
3. Previous experience in the label, printing, or flexible packaging industry.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills.
6. Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations.
7. Effective communication skills – both written and verbal.
