WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The global functions technology group supports Finance and Risk Business partners by using our extraordinarily rich data set that spans multiple versions and geographies globally and captures detailed datasets. Our focus lies on building creative solutions that have an immediate impact on the business of our highly analytical partners. To support our rapidly growing group, we are looking for a QE Manager with hands-on testing and managing expertise along with strong communication skills. You will manage QE resources across multiple Product teams in the Finance IT portfolio and support the overall quality engineering strategy to ensure the teams meet all objectives. You will also drive the automation and DevOps processes to improve the teams’ efficiency.

Finance and Audit IT is a fast-paced environment with most projects following an agile methodology. Expectations are high for quality delivery and QE forms an essential component of the delivery process. QE teams are equal stakeholders in getting initiatives delivered on time with quality.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Manage QE teams in terms of HR responsibilities, work program planning, and project assignments.
• Accountable to work with project/program teams in the implementation of defined test strategies across application lifecycle, utilizing QE processes and tools.
• Develop and execute test strategies and plans across all levels of testing (component, integration, end-to-end) for the portfolio.
• Leverage automation, test cases optimization, API testing, test data management, test environment management, and continuous integration/delivery where applicable.
• Provide expertise, direction, coaching, and development to build team capabilities in areas such as QE, Agile, DevOps, and other RBC processes and practices.
• Accountable for maximizing automation for all project functional and non-functional testing deliverables in the portfolio.
• Support in all aspects of automation testing (plan, script, execute, analyze, and report) using the organization’s framework/tools and standards.
• Design and develop a new automation framework or maintain the existing one to ensure the testing process is comprehensive and adds value to the team’s goal under the direction of overall QE vision and strategy.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

• A Bachelor of Science/Engineering Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field of study.
• 5+ years’ experience in QA/QE for Technology (with strong technical acumen), with a minimum of 2 years in test automation.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Experience in developing and implementing program/project end-to-end, functional and non-functional testing strategies.
• Hands-on experience with data-related testing, including Data Ingestion, Lineage, Quality, and Transformation.
• Good knowledge of a variety of test tools (e.g., Robot Framework, Selenium, LoadRunner, Jira) and script development using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline and DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCode, Helios, Knowledge of web services and API testing – REST API and SOAP.
• Having Test Automation vision and leadership skills for innovation.

Nice-to-have:

• Hands-on experience in development (e.g., Java, C++, SQL DB querying).
• Experience with Cloud technologies like Openshift containerization.
• Business domain knowledge on Finance and Capital Market.
• Experience in vendor management.
• QA implementations using Agile methodology.
• Experience with Big Data technologies.
