What is the opportunity?

You will be part of our fast-paced Finance IT team and will be responsible for Process Development, Visioning, and oversight on our Big Data Platform using the latest technologies like Cloud, Kafka, and Containerization. The project comprises teams of QE professionals providing Test Services for the applications and programs within Finance IT. Your role will focus on providing QE services on the team contributing to Functional Quality Engineering (QE) processes and QE Automation for these groups while performing on test execution teams. This position provides you the opportunity to demonstrate and build technical processes and architecture as well as leadership skills while providing IT solutions to a highly volatile business environment.


What Will You Do

  1. Delivering on overall quality engineering strategy, accountable for implementing functional testing process as well as automation framework architecture for the ecosystem/program.
  2. Implement and drive strategic and tactical QE initiatives, implementation of the QE Automation Program and overall QE Automation process and standards.
  3. Ensures adequate training and learning of tools to deliver objectives.
  4. Accountable for maximizing automation for all project functional testing deliverables in portfolio.
  5. Responsible for following and developing defined processes and tools and alignment with overall QE strategy and framework.
  6. Responsible for providing accurate and detailed quality status to QE team and stakeholders.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  1. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with related experience.
  2. Test Strategizing and Planning implementation experience.
  3. Script development using scripting languages, primarily in Linux, Python, SQL, and Robot Framework.
  4. Experience using SDLC, QE, and DevOps tools (JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCodeDeploy, Helios, QTest, etc.).
  5. Experience with Data related testing, including Data Ingestion, Lineage, Quality, Transformation, and Consumption using automated tools.
  6. Strong Communication skills together with Test Automation vision and leadership skills for innovation.
  7. QA implementations using Agile methodology.
  8. QA implementations on Big Data implementations.

Nice-to-have

  1. Experience in a variety of test automation tools (Robot Framework, Selenium).
  2. Hands-on knowledge and experience on Data masking technologies.
  3. Experience reviewing artifacts including code reviews (application and test automation scripts).
  4. Cloud certification and solutions such as ElasticSearch, Kafka, SNS.
  5. Business domain knowledge on Finance and Risk.
  6. Experience in vendor management.
  7. Certifications: PMP, ISTQB.
  8. Experience with Cloud technologies like Openshift containerization, Amazon, Google.
