Job Description

The QA Analyst brings a wealth of quality assurance experience to the studio. The incumbent will work directly with the development teams, ensuring our games are polished and engaging.
We are looking for a passionate quality assurance expert, with the potential to have this be a Senior Quality Assurance role if your experience is a match for what we’re looking for. This role is on a 6-month contract, with the potential for further extension.

Responsibilities

1. Integrate directly with the development teams and help them to create quality content
2. Clearly document issues and ensure they can be reproduced effectively
3. Create, maintain and execute test cases for your assigned areas
4. Provide constructive feedback on systems, features and the overall holistic quality of our games
5. Act as a subject matter expert for areas of ownership and proactively find new ways to drive quality forward
6. Assist other members of the quality assurance team
7. Work and share with other industry veterans who are passionate about their craft
8. Create and follow-up on test suites executed by QC teams
9. Perform Regression of Open and Fixed issues
10. Be aware of issues history and overall quality issues for your assigned areas
11. Come up with recommendations, based on issues, to help improve the development process

Qualifications

1. 2+ years' experience in game or software quality assurance
2. An excellent understanding of database and bug-tracking software (Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.)
3. Experience designing and managing re-usable test cases and test suites (TestRail)
4. Experience with coordinating test runs
5. Experience with documenting processes and new testing procedures (Confluence)
6. The ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks and take ownership of assigned areas
7. A passion for video games and interactive storytelling
8. Passion for Game Quality Assurance and Testing (testing methods, testing types, etc.)
9. An innate desire to understand how things work and a willingness to learn
10. Looking to join a top-level, creative and independent team
