InnerWorks Counselling London

CAD 60,000 - 78,000
Job description

Join the Inner Works Counselling Team

Location: London, Ontario

Position Type: Full-time (Registered Psychotherapists, Social Workers, Psychologists)

About Inner Works Counselling

At InnerWorks Counselling, we are not your typical psychotherapy practice. Rather than the typical Independent Contractor model, we hire therapists as full time, salaried employees, including health benefits and paid time off. This is part of our commitment to help our team members build a career at InnerWorks Counselling.

At InnerWorks, we help families connect and thrive in a world full of distraction and busyness. In addition to therapy sessions, we make a difference in the lives of families through group therapy, social skills groups, Executive Functioning coaching, the Safe & Sound Protocol, and parenting support & education.

Our team believes that when we provide a collaborative approach to care, our clients see substantial and lasting change.

OUR VALUES

Excellence: Go Above and Beyond. We strive for continuous improvement, take initiative, and always aim to exceed expectations. We want every client to feel the quality of care we bring to each session.

Innovation: Do it Differently. We disrupt traditional mental health practices by embracing creative, out-of-the-box approaches to better serve our clients and the community.

Team Players: Be a Giver. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. Our team works together to support both clients and one another, fostering a sense of community, growth, and shared success.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide One-on-One Therapy: Offer high-quality counselling services to a broad range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Facilitate Group Programs: Lead or co-lead groups focused on social skills, executive functioning, and other specialized areas, as appropriate.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Conduct assessments, create personalized treatment goals, and continually evaluate client progress.
  • Maintain Client Records: Document clinical notes and ensure compliance with professional and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Participate in peer consultation, case reviews, and supervision meetings.
  • Engage in Continued Learning: Stay current with industry best practices, evolving treatment modalities, and emerging research.
  • Additional Areas of Ownership: We aim to offer a diversified workload so that Team Members can bring their whole selves to work and use a variety of their skillsets and interests. Each Team Member has additional “micro roles” outside of their therapy sessions that contribute to the growth and health of our clinic.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current registration (or eligibility) with a governing body in Ontario (e.g., OCSWSSW, CRPO, College of Psychologists of Ontario).
  • Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Available 30 hours per week with the expectation of 22 client hours per week, plus additional responsibilities.
  • Available a minimum of 10 hours per week for evening/weekend appointments.

Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Training in a modality of couples therapy (EFT, RLT).

WHY JOIN THE INNERWORKS TEAM?

  • Professional Development: Access funding for workshops, conferences, and certifications to help you grow in your areas of interest.
  • Clinical Supervision: All supervision is provided, either in-house or with one of our contracted supervisors.

  • Diverse Clientele & Modalities: Make a tangible impact on children, adolescents, adults, and families through a range of therapeutic offerings, including in-home services and specialized groups.
