We offer comprehensive outpatient services that focus on assessment and treatment/management for addictions, mood disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, ADHD, and more. Our clinics address diverse issues across various populations, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Psychometrist/Psycho Educational Assessment Consultant to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have a passion for using their knowledge and expertise to support individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds; the candidate will be working under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist/Psychological Associate.

The Psychometrist/Psycho Educational Assessment Consultant is responsible for but not limited to:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, and behavioural functioning; this is an assessment-focused role with an emphasis on ADHD/Mental Health.
  • Administer and interpret a wide range of standardized tests, including WISC-V and WIAT-III along with using Pearson’s Q-interactive platform and administering additional tests, including the RIAS-2, WRAML-3, KTEA-3, CMS, PPVT-5, and EVT-3.
  • Collaborate with patients, parents/guardians, and other professionals to gather information and provide comprehensive recommendations.
  • Write detailed and insightful evaluation reports in a timely manner that accurately reflect the results of assessments and provide practical recommendations for support.
  • Provide feedback and consultation to individuals, families, and peers to help them understand and make effective use of assessment results.
  • Stay current on best practices, research, and developments in the field of psychological assessment.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and with community agencies/professionals.
  • Provide an evidence-based approach to patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience or Psychology required.
  • Graduate degree in psychology with coursework in psychometrics/psychological assessment or equivalent education in psychology, neuroscience, psychotherapy, social work, counselling, or a related mental health field is required.
  • Knowledge of current testing instruments.
  • Experience in administering and scoring cognitive tests and standardized questionnaires required.
  • Experience working with ADHD clients is preferred.
  • Experience completing psychological assessments with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with mental health, attention, and/or learning challenges.
  • Knowledge of virtual systems and meeting technology.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Eager to collaborate with a team of like-minded practitioners and share the goal of optimizing patient health.
  • Passion for and experience working with multidisciplinary health teams is an asset.
  • *Must be able to travel between all locations
