About the Role
Provides data-driven information and recommendations to the VPAAE, the University President, Directors of advancement, faculty-based fundraisers and other University departments. Works in close collaboration with a highly mission-focused team of internal stakeholders and campus partners to support donor engagement activities for the major gift, planned gift and principal gift programs in support of the University's highest priorities. Provides prospect identification and research, pipeline development, and data analytics. Identifies and investigates major gift donors and prospective donors (“prospects”) (individuals and organizations) and provides detailed research reports to those working with private donors to the university. The role investigates and assesses biographical and philanthropic information, analyzes complex asset and remuneration data, and creates decision-ready, detailed dossiers, wealth evaluation reports, business reports and briefing materials using commercial and public resources online. Assesses and determines affinity to the university, financial capacity, propensity to give, and philanthropic interests, and provides strategic recommendations that support planning, decision-making and fundraising initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and three years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. An equivalent combination of formal education, certificate/program of study and experience is acceptable.
