Proposal Specialist

We are seeking a Proposal Specialist to support our Business Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and managing proposals to secure new projects and clients while supporting the marketing team by creating engaging content. The ideal candidate will create opportunities to engage with prospective and existing clients, and our broader design network.

Experience with Adobe InDesign is strongly preferred. An appreciation for architecture and design is a must.

Proposals:

1. Review formal RFPs and other proposal requests to develop an understanding of the client goals and project requirements.
2. Coordinate with Principals and other members of the Business Development team.
3. Lead the development of proposals including written narratives, visual content, and layout with “subject matter” input from the project team.
4. Collect and adapt visual imagery, case studies, and other assets.
5. Adhere to RFP requirements, timelines, questions and addenda, and submission deadlines.

4. Excellent time management and ability to define priorities.
5. Able to absorb concepts and develop industry knowledge quickly.
6. Able to up-manage senior staff.
7. Appreciation for design, architecture, and urban development.
8. Experience working in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
9. Proficiency in Mac OS & G Suite platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $55,000-$70,000 CAD (commensurate with experience).

Benefits: Supplementary health and dental benefits after a 3-month probationary period.
