What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Review and summarize Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI) for management
2. Oversee proposal response processes, ensuring compliance and timely submission
3. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME) across various departments for proposal input
4. Prepare sales quotes for complex, multi-year projects and maintain cooperative contract compliance
5. Track industry trends and maintain an electronic knowledge base for proposal requirements

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Ability to deliver high-quality documentation with attention to detail
2. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Adobe or Nuance PDF creator
3. Strong organizational, communication, writing, and leadership skills
4. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
5. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the law enforcement industry preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Experience with Salesforce CRM
2. Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and simplify them effectively
3. Previous experience in proposal writing or management within a related field
4. Background in cooperative purchasing programs
