Project Technologist – Emissions Monitoring
Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation

Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation team in our Sault Ste. Marie Office.
Responsibilities of a Project Technologist for the Environmental Management System include:
- Act as an emissions auditor for an industrial facility
- Perform various qualitative and quantitative observations of the environmental management system, and provide accurate and concise documentation
- Complete responsibilities of the role compliant to Method 303 – Determination of Visible Emissions
- Collect soil, groundwater and surface water samples for ongoing monitoring
- Liaise with Site representatives, regulators and contractors
- Comply with and successfully complete all required training, including respirator fit testing and working at heights training (provided)
What You Bring To The Pinchin Team
- A degree or diploma in a related discipline, preferably in environmental studies, environmental science or engineering
- Experience in environmental air monitoring and compliance reporting is not required but is considered an asset
- 0-3 years of experience in environmental consulting will be considered an asset
- Industrial operation experience is not mandatory but will be considered an asset
- Experience or training relating to Method 303 is not required, but considered an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Technical writing skills
- Valid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
- Availability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment, complying with client and company specific safety requirements. Occasional travel within other areas of Northern Ontario may be required
- Availability to work a standard 8-hour day and occasionally work outside of core business hours (i.e., evenings and weekends)
