We are currently looking for Project Superintendent with our Sheet Metal department to join our team!

Roles and Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the coordination and supervision of all onsite construction activities
• Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications
• Work closely with the PM and management team to coordinate schedule and manpower requirements.
• Strategically coordinate material and equipment deliveries to maintain schedule
• Consult with the BIM team regularly in the production of the project model and participate in clash resolution meetings.
• Attend daily site coordination meetings as required by the GC
• Oversight of the QA/QC program, ensuring testing and inspection reports are being completed as required.
• Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately
• Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy
• Perform other duties as required

Required Skills

• Ability to prioritize workloads and utilize planning & time management skills to adhere to strict deadlines
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Technical Ability/Knowledge

• Intermediate computer skills (MS Project and Access)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Procore an asset
• Experience with Revizto an asset

Required Experience

• Sheet Metal Journeyperson certificate
• Minimum of 10 years of experience required, within construction
• A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role
• Proven ability in leadership and management of field staff in mechanical construction

• Travel may be required
