JLL is seeking a Project Manager specializing in Sustainable Building design & construction to join our Sustainability Consulting team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering strategic solutions for clients, actively collaborating across platforms, and managing industry-changing projects. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for working with diverse stakeholders to deliver challenging sustainability projects, leveraging your expertise in commercial real estate operations, sustainability, energy management, and construction. Your ability to adapt to new technologies, develop collaborative solutions, and drive client satisfaction through teamwork will be essential in this dynamic position. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to be in the office once or twice a week and potential for occasional site visits.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  1. Lead project meetings, charrettes, and presentations.
  2. Develop and track sustainability metrics and goals.
  3. Complete documentation including plans and calculations to achieve green building certifications (such as LEED, WELL, Zero Carbon, BOMA BEST, etc.).
  4. Develop technical documentation, proposals, and presentations to clients.
  5. Provide written and oral comments and reports to design teams, owners, or contractors.
  6. If needed, conduct project job site visits during construction to monitor progress and ensure conformance to sustainable design specifications, owner expectations, and building codes.
  7. Support project executives on large complex projects and assignments.
  8. Proactively manage project-related issues on account or assignment.
  9. Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects.
  10. Manage financials on assigned projects (project setup, invoices, AR, etc.).
  11. Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  12. Make independent decisions with regard to specific job duties. Seek guidance on decisions outside work scope.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  1. 3-6 years’ experience in real estate sustainability, corporate environmental management, or energy efficiency.
  2. BA/BS degree in environmental science, engineering, real estate, architecture, or related field with a strong record of academic achievement.
  3. LEED AP, WELL AP, and/or Fitwel Ambassador experience preferred.
  4. Experience with embodied carbon / sustainable material specification preferred.
  5. Experience with the following is a plus: GRESB, CDP, GRI, TCFD, SASB, ENERGY STAR, Building HVAC Systems, International Living Futures Institute, Net Zero, Passive House, Zero Waste, BOMA BEST.
  6. Possess strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  7. Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

90,000.00 – 120,000.00 CAD per year. The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
