Your role
We are seeking an aspiring, self-motivated, and collaborative Project Manager to be at the forefront of leading the growth of our Northern Ontario business unit.

Your knowledge in planning, design, and construction will enable you to be a trusted advisor to Colliers clients, supporting their goals in healthcare, construction, Indigenous communities and other capital projects.
Responsibilities
- You’ve completed a number of projects, varying in size and scope in the public sector relating to educational, municipal or other institutional buildings, facilities, healthcare, and essential infrastructure.
- Your clients trust you and rely on your knowledge, skills and expertise to achieve their business goals and objectives.
- Your clients are impressed with your ability to represent their best interests regarding contractual and technical issues.
Qualifications
- A strong desire to grow our business presence in the local market and meet company growth targets.
- A university degree or diploma in engineering or construction management (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience).
- 4 – 8 years’ experience as a practitioner including projects and programs of work in planning, design, healthcare, construction, Indigenous communities and other capital projects.
- Experience building and nurturing long-term client relationships and working collaboratively.
- An established network of industry contacts and relationships within the region as well as involvement with applicable regional industry and trade associations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills including a proven ability to develop winning proposals and win competitive interviews.
- Professional industry credentials such as PMP, P.Eng., CET, or similar industry-recognized designation is considered a strong asset.
- A strong sense of community and involvement in local community boards and associations.
