About the opportunity:
Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will use their knowledge in construction of buildings to work collaboratively to ensure the delivery of construction projects from concept through post-construction documentation and close-out. This role is responsible for the overall project management and successful performance of routine and complex construction projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders, construction timelines and multi-million-dollar budgets.
About your background:
You have a university degree or a post-secondary technical diploma in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field from a publicly accredited post-secondary institution recognized in the BC Transfer Guide. The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience in project management related to building construction, including skills in resource planning, procurement, and financial management analysis. Familiarity with project management and financial software systems is an asset. Additionally, a Project Management Certificate (CMP), a Professional Project Management designation (PMP), or an equivalent qualification is desirable.
