Project Manager (Construction Industry exp. req.)
Location: 30 min NW of Los Angeles, CA
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 + Benefits
Benefits: Health Insurance Contribution, 401k w/ match, FSA, Life Insurance, PTO, Paid Holidays
Job Type: Full-Time
Typical Hours: M-F 8:30 am - 5:00 pm PT + some weekends based on project need
Start Date: ASAP
Travel: Occasional local travel to visit customers/job sites

Description

Our client is seeking a Project Manager with a strong construction or manufacturing background to join their team located 30 min NW of Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you’ll oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of large-scale projects from start to finish, ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service throughout. You’ll manage anywhere from 50-100 projects at a time, requiring excellent information retention, organization, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or manufacturing and be familiar with materials and engineering drawings. Previous experience managing crews and overseeing installations is a plus! Responsibilities

  1. Deliver exceptional customer service
  2. Maintain proactive communication
  3. Provide timely project updates to all stakeholders
  4. Track and manage projects using the ERP system
  5. Oversee project timelines, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
  6. Coordinate project completion, including final inspections for billing
  7. Evaluate and execute the defined scope of work
  8. Verify materials align with sales renderings, estimates, and purchase orders
  9. Resolve material issues in coordination with vendors
  10. Schedule necessary equipment rentals and subcontractor services
  11. Report on upcoming closures and financial needs
  12. Manage crews and oversee installations
  13. Communicate job progress directly with installation crews
  14. Share daily schedules with the Installation and Manufacturing teams
  15. Ensure projects are completed within budget and client-specified timelines

Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required
  2. 3+ years of Project Management experience required
  3. Project Management experience within Construction or related industry (i.e. solar, plumbing, roofing, etc.) required
  4. Experience managing a high volume of projects required
  5. Experience using QuickBooks and Excel required
