Project Manager

We are looking for a passionate and proficient Project Manager for our Saskatoon branch. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this individual will have a team of Project Coordinators reporting to him/her and will be adept at managing and overseeing multiple projects. They will have experience in project management methodologies and technologies, and familiarity with the engineering development and manufacturing processes. The Project Manager will help to minimize cost and performance risks, and provide the required liaison, documentation, and everyday management of projects, while ensuring that all project products and services are risk managed, budgeted effectively, and delivered in a timely manner.

Skills and Abilities

• At least five years' experience in the Manufacturing industry, with mining experience as a preferred background.
• Preference will be given to candidates with Journeyperson status, an Industrial Systems Engineering degree, a Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma, or the equivalent.
• Experience in a project management role would be an asset.
• Experience in vendor sourcing and management.
• Knowledge of industry standards.
• High level of competence in using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, or other project management software.
• Ability to manage projects of up to 12 months duration, and high revenue, with multiple suppliers.
