Project Manager

Cascade Bridge, LLC, is seeking a Project Manager for new projects in Portland, Oregon and Kelso, Washington. We hire for the long-term and not for one job only. There is opportunity for growth and advancement within the company.

Founded in 2001, Cascade Bridge, LLC is a leading Pacific Northwest Heavy Highway General Contractor that specializes in bridge construction and rehabilitation. Our typical project size is $5 million to $30 million, and we self-perform many scopes of work including pile-driving, structural concrete, precast concrete, steel girder erection, and cast-in-place concrete retaining walls. Responsibilities:

The Project Manager is the key individual responsible for management of project construction. The Project Manager supervises the Project Superintendent and Project Engineers in project administration in the field such as:

• Safety and loss control program on the project.
• Environmental compliance.
• Managing the direct workforce and maintaining employee relations.
• Coordinating jobsite with corporate office activities.
• Developing and administering the site utility plan, site services, security arrangements, and other facilities and services necessary on the project.
• Developing, monitoring, updating, and communicating the progress schedule and its periodic revisions.
• Managing subcontractor/vendors/suppliers schedules, quality-of-work, coordination with other trades, and payments.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with the project owners, inspectors, design professionals, and local businesses.

Qualifications:

• The candidate must have a degree in Construction Engineering Management or Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of project management experience in the bridge construction industry.
• The candidate should have the ability to take on challenges, adapt to changing conditions, and manage multiple priorities independently.
• Sound economic-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed and logical decisions.
• Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• This position requires travel and/or moving to the project location for the length of the project.

We provide industry-leading compensation and a complete benefits package. The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $185,000 depending on experience.
