Introduction
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Life Cycle Services team. You will be responsible for Market Area Project execution and related customer communication. The Project Manager will ensure parts deliveries are tracked and delivered on time in order to meet customer expectations and site requirements, fulfill contract obligations, and achieve targets for safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
In this position, you will report to the Manager, Project Management, LCS CAN.
This position is mainly located in Montreal, QC but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. However, it involves up to 10% travel domestically.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of project managers dedicated to managing Metso owned Inventory (MOI) Parts and Services contracts with Metso’s clients in accordance with the organization’s global processes, tools, and policies, utilizing solid project management practices.
What you’ll do
Who you are
• Must be fluent in English and French (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Solid Experience in Project Management, PMP Certification is an asset.
• Solid SAP fluency, especially in Materials Management & Production Planning modules.
• Experience in mining or allied manufacturing industries preferred.
• Knowledge of mineral processing equipment & services is a plus.
• Fundamental knowledge of commercial and legal terms and conditions.
• Strong leadership skills with a bias for action and the ability to motivate teamwork.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings is a plus.
