Position Overview

As a key member of the Business Process Office team, the Project Manager leads strategic, cross-functional initiatives that drive operational excellence and support the company’s growth. This role focuses on managing diverse projects, such as software implementation, data analysis, process optimization, development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), procurement strategies, new product lines, customer programs, and other initiatives, whether company-wide, inter- or intra-departmental.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Project Management
  • Collaborate with company managers to plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with company objectives, timelines, and budgets
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, milestones, resource allocation, risk management, and success metrics
  • Drive project execution, monitoring progress, managing changes, and ensuring timely delivery of key milestones
  • Organize, prioritize, and manage projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, evaluation, and closure
  • Foster a culture of accountability by setting clear goals, defining success metrics, and ensuring effective resource allocation across multiple projects
  • Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of SOPs to standardize operational workflows
  • Leverage data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and project outcomes
  • Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as a key liaison between the Business Process Office and other departments, cultivating strong partnerships through clear, diplomatic communication and customer service orientation
  • Collaborate with department leads and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration and knowledge sharing
  • Provide regular project updates, status reports, and presentations to the COO and senior leadership team
  • Risk Management & Quality Assurance
  • Proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges
  • Ensure adherence to project management standards, methodologies, and quality assurance processes for consistent project delivery
  • Optimize resource planning to support project requirements and business priorities

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Horticulture, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus)
  • PMP or similar project management certification preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the horticulture, agriculture, or manufacturing industries
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and data management tools
  • Proven experience in process improvement, procurement, and/or planning
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including superior interpersonal skills
  • Capable of delivering clear, concise, and impactful information to all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Total Compensation

In addition to starting compensation between $70,000 – $90,000 annually, we also offer:
