We are looking for a Project Management Coordinator, Scientific Infrastructure (PMC) to support our new Office of Facilities Renewal Management (OFRM) team. The PMC would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
The successful candidate will contribute to NRC's scientific infrastructure renewal initiatives by working closely with senior project managers and leaders to successfully deliver OFRM program/projects.
The PMC relieves the project team of project management administrative responsibilities by maintaining project data in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to help all stakeholders have an accurate picture of the project status and forecast. The PMC prepares status reports at team and program levels to assist the Project Managers as well as OFRM managers make informed decisions in order to deliver projects on scope on time and on budget. They also provide a range of other project coordination services, including procurement activities and advice on the processes and tools related to project coordination.
Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:
Successful completion of secondary school according to provincial guidelines. A college diploma including project management courses would be considered an asset. A combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered. A formal designation as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) would be considered an asset.
*Significant experience is defined as at least two (2) years of experience.
