Overview
EDC's Structured and Project Finance Team is a significant player in global project and infrastructure finance. Since its establishment in 1995, EDC's Structured and Project Finance Team has closed over 640 financing transactions globally, accounting for financings in excess of USD 53 billion.
EDC Project Finance team is active in a variety of industries, including energy, infrastructure, renewables, mining and metals and telecommunications. Counterparties to EDC's Project Finance transactions include top-tier international sponsors, exporters, law firms and international Project Finance and investment banks.
EDC is looking for an experienced project finance professional to join our Structured and Project Finance Team based in Singapore. We offer a unique opportunity for a finance professional seeking an exciting career in international project finance to become a key member in one of the leading project finance teams. Reporting to a Regional Manager, Structured and Project Finance, the selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of delivery of limited recourse project financing transactions.
Responsibilities
- Lead originating, structuring and execution of large-scale project finance transactions. Financing structures will vary depending on client requirements, including structured, project and acquisition financing transactions.
- Directs the financial analysis of project finance transactions using detailed cash flow models.
- Conducts due diligence and assesses all project and transaction risks, negotiates mitigants and financial terms and conditions as required and establishes appropriate transaction pricing.
- Manages external advisors and counterparties as required.
- Makes credit recommendations and obtains all required approvals.
- Negotiates changes or develops documentation as required, in collaboration with legal counsel.
- Oversees the work of a broader deal team which includes Associates and various internal advisors; provides leadership, coaching, training and mentorship roles to members of the deal team.
- Responsible for managing the portfolio throughout the life of the transactions.
- Supports the Regional Manager in prospecting new opportunities and engaging in business development.
Screening Criteria
- Minimum 7 years of underwriting or advising on structured and project finance transactions.
- Knowledge of financing of either Energy, Renewables, Infrastructure, Mining and Metals or Telecom sectors.
- MBA with a focus on finance or international business, or equivalent education and work experience.

Location
- Please be advised that this position is based at our Singapore Branch Office, situated in the Marina Bay Financial Centre.
Salary Range
- Salaries typically range from $160,000 to $239,000 SGD annually, based on qualifications and experiences, plus a performance-based incentive.
