Project Delegate (Works on Coordinating Propulsion Activities):
Coordinate Propulsion Systems Simulation Team activities to support the completion of vehicle performance simulations (i.e., Fuel economy, range, CO2, 0-60mph, etc.).
Work with Off Road Tech Club, Powertrain, PFDI, and other organizations to identify and assist in the creation of new simulation strategies and tools for future models.
Develop and track costs of Powertrain solutions; deliver these costs to the Vehicle team.
Support Powertrain meetings to ensure communication with Vehicle Teams is consistent with Brand strategy for the program's vision.
Hold necessary meetings and create presentation material to assist in the advanced design process.
Facilitator and team player in identification of a simulation tool.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering Degree from an ABET accredited university.
Minimum of 3-5 years of automotive development experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to simplify complex engineering topics, develop and deliver a presentation in a clear and concise way.
Ability to make quick decisions using sound engineering logic.
Well-developed problem-solving skills.
Ability to define the engineering logic behind system packaging layout solutions in the context of the vehicle/platform.
