Are you a recent graduate or a current Project Coordinator or experienced Project Manager with experience on large projects or a specialization in QA/QC processes, scheduling, interior construction, finishes, envelope, electrical systems, office and stadium specialties? We are looking for candidates with 1-2 years of experience to join an established company where processes and protocols are in place, allowing for nimbleness and adaptability.

The Role

The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative assistance and carrying out the duties required for the day-to-day operations of the project under the direction and supervision of the Project Manager and/or Superintendent. The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that administration of the contract, as well as the subcontracts, is done as efficiently and effectively as possible, and as instructed by the PM/Superintendent.

What You Bring:

  • Completed 4th year of BSc Civil Engineering or:
  • Completed 4th year of SAIT’s BSc Construction Project Management or:
  • Completed Civil Engineering Technology Diploma
  • Some construction experience is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Highly organized, dependable, and deadline-oriented while displaying a positive attitude in a team-based environment.
  • Reliable transportation to get to site from time to time if needed.
