The Toronto Maternal and Child Health Network (TMCHN), hosted at SickKids, is one of six regional maternal-child health networks in Ontario. These networks are dedicated to strengthening connections between maternal-child healthcare providers and organizations to improve health outcomes for perinatal, newborn, and pediatric populations.

The Program/Project Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day activities and management of key projects/initiatives for the TMCHN. Reporting to the Program Manager, this role focuses on coordination across the program, collaboration with internal and external partners, SME engagement, project management, preparing business cases, annual planning, and data analysis to inform outcome measures of the TMCHN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, experience in hospital environments, exceptional time management skills, and a proven ability to implement and monitor projects and initiatives.

Here's What You'll Get To Do

• Prepare data reports and make recommendations
• Engage with partners within the Toronto Region to inform key priorities across maternal, neonatal and paediatric health
• Collaborate with provincial groups
• Lead engagement strategy, including planning site visits, symposiums and events
• Monitor outcomes and performance of regional network activities
• Support the coordination and collaboration of providers on initiatives led by the TMCHN
• Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met while balancing multiple initiatives

• Master in or currently enrolled in: Business Administration (MBA), Nursing (MN), Health Administration (MHA), Public Health (MPH), Health Informatics (MHI), or other relevant disciplines
• Degree in a health-related discipline is preferred (e.g. nursing)
• Two to three years of experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is required
• Experience writing reports, briefing notes, and status reports
• Demonstrated capacity to prepare data driven reports and presentations
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders, ranging from frontline staff, clinicians, through to senior leadership/executives
• An ability to engage in clinical discussions
• Exemplary communication, organization, facilitation, collaboration, and relationship management skills
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of IT applications, such as Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), marketing platforms (i.e. Mailchimp) and Zoom
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with multiple shifting priorities
• Ability to work in a highly accountable, measurement informed environment
• Demonstrated commitment and actions in advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion objectives

• Temporary, 12-month contract
