Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing overall administrative and technical expertise required to support a large-scale construction project.
Primary Scope of Role
Support the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager in planning and implementing schedules, material quantities, inspections, equipment, and requirements are maintained.
Monitor work performance to ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are being followed.
Prepare project documentation such as contracts, permits, and technical documents.
Advise of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties and assist in resolving these problems.
Assist in maintaining and analyzing up-to-date cost reports and submit necessary changes to ensure the project is delivered within budget.
Meet with Owners and Consultants, and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company.
Interface with project team, subcontractors, and related third parties.
Monitor and inspect the project site to maintain a safe work environment and provide leadership to ensure policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management to support the overall objectives of the company.
Position Requirements
2 years of construction experience.
Experience on MTO road construction projects is preferred.
Exposure to all aspects of road and bridge building.
Results-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment.
