We are looking for someone to step in as a competent Project Coordinator at our Regina location, reporting directly to the Project Manager.
The Project Coordinator will generate accurate estimates of time, materials and outside services from their interpretation of detailed manufacturing drawings. The selected individual will have strong skills in organization with proven abilities to manage projects from start to finish. This individual will work directly with our clients and ensure that their projects are completed timely with exceptional quality, on time and on budget. This person must have a "can do" attitude and the creative ability to meet company goals. You must be comfortable learning new software as you will use the company's Global Shop ERP computer system. You need to be someone who is friendly, able to multi-task and have intermediate to advanced computer skills that cause you to be efficient with computerized tasks.
Skills and Abilities
Steel fabrication and machining knowledge & experience
Proven ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings
Mechanical Engineering Degree or diploma with 3-5 years experience or an Industrial Tradesperson with 8-10 years experience
Estimating/quoting and or Project management experience in a manufacturing organization
Good computer skills, including decent typing skills with an aptitude for learning new software programs
Intermediate experience with drafting and purchasing is a definite asset
Outgoing personality that includes good written and verbal communication to all levels
Detail oriented
