Convergint is currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join our growing team in our Fort McMurray, AB, location. As the Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing leadership, worksite planning, scheduling, organizing and directing, field installation, and start-up of assigned projects. Position requires that work is executed in a safe manner as per company policies and applicable provincial and federal legislation.
The Project Coordinator ensures projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost and time schedules as well as monitors the productivity of crews at the worksite who install/assemble components of products and systems. As a key participant in the relationship with contractors, company and client, the Projects Coordinator plays an important role as a coordinating manager and customer point of contact.
The Project Coordinator is expected to provide on-site installation assistance. Approximately 75% of time is spent coordinating projects and the remainder providing job site specific field & office work.
