Project Coordinator

AFIMAC Canada is seeking experienced Project Co-ordinators for upcoming assignments in Ontario related to labour disruptions, organized protests, and man-made crises/disasters.

This position will require you to work up to 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week when assigned to a project.

You will earn:

• $25-$30 per hour before overtime
• Paid travel up to 4 hours
• Hotel accommodation provided when required
• $30 per day meal allowance when lodging is required
• Temporary Contracts: 1-120 days

AFIMAC Project Co-ordinators are deployed to various types of assignments including:

• Labour Disruptions
• Organized protests
• Man-made crises/disasters (crime scenes, structural fires, etc.)

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

To be eligible to work for AFIMAC you must be able to meet the following criteria:

• Former military, emergency management, project management, or law enforcement experience required. (Industry experience would also be considered)
• Able to travel
• Work away from home for extended deployments
• Excellent organization and computer skills
• Able to work in a high-stress environment
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Work long hours up to 7 days per week
• Be on call nights and weekends
• Able to deploy on short notice as projects dictate
• Ability to manage clients at a senior manager/executive level
• Able to manage investigators and security personnel deployed in the field
• Motivate and improve performance as needed
• Strong team-building skills
• Clean criminal record
• Valid driver's license and vehicle
• Strong attention to detail and able to work with law enforcement and client legal counsel
• Testify at legal proceedings
• Very strong problem-solving skills
• Have or able to obtain required security and investigation licenses
• Former corporate security role is an asset

Experience:

• Project management or Emergency management: 1 year (preferred)
• Military or Law Enforcement: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (required)

License/Certification:

• Security License (preferred)
• Private Investigator License (preferred)
• Class G Driver's License (required)
