Clinical Research Project Coordinator (CRPC) - Child Health Equity
We are seeking a highly qualified candidate for a Clinical Research Project Coordinator (CRPC) position at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. This is a full-time role (1.0 FTE, 35 hours/week) beginning with a one-year contract. The Clinical Research Project Coordinator will work closely with the Principal Investigator to assist in all study-related activities.
The candidate will coordinate several studies relating to Child Health Equity. Healthcare equity is defined as providing healthcare that does not vary in quality because of personal, social and economic characteristics. Child- and family-centered care (CFCC) recognizes families and children as essential partners in children's health care; core concepts include respect and dignity, information sharing, participation and collaboration. It is unclear if social and economic inequities influence CFCC in pediatric hospital care.
Data collection of a cross-sectional study investigating health care inequities and family centered care experienced by caregivers during their child's hospital admission in SickKids, CHEO and McMaster has just been completed. The candidate will be responsible for cleaning this data, data analysis, preparation of manuscript(s), presentations, posters and organizing team meetings to discuss results.
