The opportunity.
At Quantexa, we are expanding our project delivery teams rapidly as clients adopt our technology across the financial crime and customer lifecycle management domains. We are seeking a Program Manager in Ottawa to support our North America delivery team, which assists clients in implementing the Quantexa platform. The team is based in two primary offices in Boston and Toronto, and client teams are often globally distributed. All client project work is guided by one of our Delivery Managers in North America.
As Program Manager:
- You will lead a portfolio of projects and/or programs for global clients, where our clients have invested in a platform that uses Quantexa for multiple business purposes and therefore has multiple interdependent projects.
- You’ll drive successful outcomes, delivering programs in the most optimal way to realize maximum value for our clients.
- You will take full ownership of your portfolio, actively mitigating risks and issues, driving high standards of quality and best practice, and being in full control of the costs, timelines, and scope.
- You will manage the commercial aspects of your projects and programs, ensuring appropriate contractual cover is in place, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring cost-effective utilization of people and resources.
- You will work with a high degree of autonomy, seeking and knowing when to engage the Delivery Managers for support.
- You’ll lead and manage the delivery teams engaged across your projects portfolio, ensuring their wellbeing and continued effectiveness.
- You will work with relevant partners to develop their skillsets and enhance partner capabilities.
- You’ll manage the overall client relationship, including identifying new opportunities and forecasting ongoing project demand.
- You will drive continuous improvement across your delivery projects and provide feedback to wider delivery teams.
- This role will require travel to client offices in Ottawa as needed.
What you’ll bring.
- You have a strong background in complex IT system Program management and a track record of getting systems live and programs delivered.
- You demonstrate strong client engagement management skills, gained in a professional services or client-facing environment in a technology company.
- You have the ability to inspire and lead others to a common mission and objective.
- You are able to collaborate across multiple teams to drive solutions to complex problems.
- You have ambitious standards matched with a sense of humility and a desire to get the right thing done in the right way.
- You’re able to grasp complex concepts and communicate with clarity across a range of subjects.
- You will have a high degree of emotional intelligence, leadership, and the ability to effectively listen to employee feedback.
- A valid Secret-level government security clearance, either current or within the past year, is a mandatory requirement for this position.
