About You / What We Are Looking For
Our Parks, Recreation, Culture and Facilities Department is currently looking for enthusiastic Program Leaders for our Spring Break children’s programs! We are looking for candidates who can create lasting memories through leading an inclusive and engaging experience for children attending our Spring Break camps.
Program Leaders will have a leadership responsibility for planning, implementing and leading a variety of social, cultural, sport, and general interest activities. Program Leaders will provide guidance to volunteers on their program duties and will be responsible for safe and proper use of equipment and facilities. Duties are performed within established guidelines but some independent action and initiative is exercised in leading and instructing assigned programs.
All applicants must be available to participate in testing and interview appointments between January 20 - 31, 2025. Successful candidates must be available for a mandatory training shift to be scheduled a week before Spring Break as well as be available to work a minimum of one full week of day shifts during Spring Break, March 17 - 28, 2025.

What We Offer:
This CUPE position has an hourly rate range of $26.10 - $30.51 (2025 rates). The rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills.
