As a Program Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing projects within the Building Automation business unit. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will liaise with multiple factions to help prevent and resolve customer problems and explore additional revenue-generating opportunities. You will also assist the Sr Program Manager in coaching and mentoring other Project Managers in the region. Your expertise will contribute to the growth and success of our Building Automation business unit in Quebec City.

You will report directly to our Sr Program Manager, and you'll work out of our Quebec City location on a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensures delivery of installation projects within budgets, on-schedule and to the customers’ satisfaction by ensuring the fulfillment of contractual obligation using the most technically appropriate and cost-effective installation and engineering techniques.
  2. Develops comprehensive installation plan including sequencing of tasks, staff planning, and working effectively with customers, sales, engineering, and subcontractors.
  3. Ensures the availability of cost effective and technically competent subcontractors by negotiating agreements, establishing schedules, and monitoring subcontractor performance.
  4. Plans, forecasts and monitors labor, equipment, installation and subcontractor costs.
  5. Maintain and Report Performance Metrics
  6. Comply with Honeywell and Clients HSE Policy and Procedures
  7. Execute the Management OS
  8. Coordinate with Functions
  9. Facilitate forecast analysis
  10. Mentor members of team

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC Control Systems
  • 5+ years’ experience in Project Management or related experience in large scale projects and implementation with Building Technologies Solutions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong experience with project planning and scheduling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
