The Ministry of Seniors, Community and Social Services (SCSS) leads seniors, income, employment, disabilities and community-based supports, family violence prevention, and family and community support services.
The Employment and Financial Services (EFS) division works to assist Albertans, particularly vulnerable Albertans, to find stability in their lives and improve their participation and success in the social and economic fabric of Alberta. The Supervisor plays an integral role in providing operational leadership to meet our ministry’s, regional and provincial business plan objectives.
Role Responsibilities
The Program Delivery Supervisor provides leadership, support, direction, and consultation to professional staff delivering Alberta Supports programs. As a member of the area supervisor team, this position assists in developing and implementing area, and zonal plans; facilitates changes in program direction; assists staff to develop and implement plans to improve individual performance; and conducts environmental scanning to ensure that quality customer service goals are maintained.
This position influences outcomes of strategic directions in the area/zone and province. It ensures that program services are administered in accordance with accepted practices and guidelines as defined by departmental policy, procedure, and legislation. This position interacts with clients to resolve complex issues in a variety of situations. The Supervisor represents Alberta Supports in the community, liaising with various interest groups, and representing the Department in many capacities.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
A University Graduation In a Related Field (preferably In Social Sciences, Humanities, Business), Plus a Minimum Of 4 Years Of Progressively Related Experience (preferably In The Financial And Employment And/or Labour Market Programs). Equivalencies Will Be Considered As Follows:

There is 1 full time, permanent position available, located in High Prairie and the successful candidate will be required to reside in the community of High Prairie. Hours of work are 36.25 hours weekly, Monday to Friday.
