Status: Full Time
Hours: Teaching is normally scheduled between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday – Friday. In accordance with the Collective Agreement, workload may be up to 44 hours per week.

Rate of Pay: $73,079 - $126,689 per year
Start Rate: Upon hire, Human Resources will conduct a rate calculation based on completed education and work experience to determine the step within the range as per the Collective Agreement.

Job Summary
The Department of Business Management in the McKeil School of Business requires a full time Professor to teach theoretical and practical business applications in a number of courses and program areas, at both the senior and junior level. Areas of expertise and interest should include: data management and analysis, with an emphasis on solving real-world problems using cutting-edge data-intensive methods, data-intensive computing, big data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
The successful applicant will be expected to be able to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in areas such as Information Systems, programming fundamentals (JavaScript/Python/R), database management systems (RDBMS, OODB, Graph DB, Data Warehouses), machine learning, and statistical methods for data analysis. Candidates with a background in data governance, sustainability, and or communicating with data would also be considered.
Under the direction of the Associate Dean, Professors in this department are responsible for providing academic leadership for developing an effective learning environment.
