Key Responsibilities:

• Travel regularly to perform audits of special processes and Quality System at suppliers
• Evaluate suppliers conformity to manufacturing processes (special processes) requirements
• Review laboratory test reports from suppliers in order to approve their manufacturing processes
• Plan supplier evaluation activities in order to support all Bombardier programs
• Evaluate suppliers quality system for compliance to AS9100
• Evaluate manufacturing processes deviations requested by suppliers
• Actively participate and lead special projects to improve our internal business processes

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, metallurgical engineering, or possess equivalent professional experience.
• You have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in supplier audits for Quality Management System and Special Processes in aerospace industries.
• You have experience related to the special processes for the manufacturing of aerospace metallic parts (heat treat, welding, shot peen, machining, assembly, chemical processing, corrosion protection).
• You have strong leadership, problem-solving, flexibility, and project management skills.
• You have experience with suppliers interactions.
• You have excellent knowledge of Nadcap, AS9100, and ISO 9001 quality standards.
• You have knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Power Query, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Sharepoint) is an asset.
• You have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) both in French and English.
• You must be available to travel.
