Reporting directly to the Manager, Composite Manufacturing Systems, this position is responsible for coordinating fiberglass manufacturing details in response to sold projects and research and development projects. This position requires an energetic, self-starter with an eye for details and interest in manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Update and maintain Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) product (part configuration, mould and colour availability) database used for project part production globally.
- Create and generate project FRP Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Check for completeness, scope and accuracy of all released FRP project BOMs.
- Act as liaison with WWI internal project and product development stakeholders to support FRP data management.
- Document related processes and procedures for the CME Department.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Any additional responsibility deemed necessary by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
- Minimum educational requirement: Diploma in Engineering Technology or equivalent.
- Experience with D / D modeling software packages is a must (Solidworks and / or Autocad preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Product Data Management (PDM) systems experience an asset.
- Manufacturing and / or Project Management experience an asset.
- Database management and / or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems experience an asset.
