Position Overview:

As the Cannabis Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing cannabis production, packaging, and distribution while reporting to the Production Manager. You will supervise a team of production staff and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient production flow in compliance with all regulatory standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong organization skills, and a deep understanding of production and packaging processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the productions areas are maintained in a clean organized manner with all activities being accurately recorded and documented.
• Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals.
• Ensure accurate records are kept for production operations and packaging.
• Assisting in the onboarding and training of new hires.
• Assist the Production Manager with production scheduling and organization to precisely project all production rooms on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Implement compliant production plans and standard operating procedures in collaboration with Production and Quality Assurance teams.
• Maintain facility protocols for sanitation, cleaning, and other procedures.
• Maintaining communication between production team and various departments to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in manufacturing, packaging facilities, or related industries is preferred.
• Prior supervisor experience of at least 2 years or more is preferred.
• Experience in cannabis industry is considered an asset.
• Health Canada Security clearance is an asset.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License and/or reliable transportation.
• Police check required.
• Ability to relocate is considered an asset.
• English and/or Spanish is considered an asset.
• Comply with all legal requirements for working in the cannabis industry.
