Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Type: Permanent – Direct Hire

Location: Penetanguishene, Ontario

Salary: $60,000-80,000/annually

The Role
We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and ensure we meet our goals for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). In this role, you will coordinate quality, safety, and maintenance efforts within your department to drive optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with scheduling and production management to prioritize daily production tasks.
• Communicate and achieve OEE quality, availability, performance, and safety standards within the department.
• Identify root causes for any unmet OEE or safety standards and take corrective action.
• Ensure operators adhere to standard work practices and utilize necessary tools.
• Maintain 5-S standards within the department.
• Lead team meetings to discuss OEE, product quality, and safety updates.
• Initiate employee counseling and manage disciplinary actions as needed.
• Foster strong communication with other production departments and shifts to meet priorities.
• Coordinate training plans to address employee development needs.
• Enforce environmental standards within the department.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations for departmental employees.
• Support business system goals and Techform’s Quality Operating System objectives.
• Focus on achieving internal and external customer satisfaction in all tasks.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
• At least three years of experience in a team lead role is desirable
