Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift 2:45 - 11:00PM
SUMMARY:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for Stator / PE System / Inverter or Battery Systems and mass production. The incumbent also develops, coordinates, and participates in productivity and quality improvement. This role will work for MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC. (MNAe).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Utilize Lean and Six Sigma techniques to identify and eliminate process wastes throughout the system.
- Maximize production efficiency and produce high-quality products based on an understanding of the product and equipment.
- Support issue resolution through root cause analysis, implementing permanent countermeasures, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Use appropriate problem-solving tools to provide rapid improvement with sustainable results.
- Assist process engineering with part processing and troubleshooting for ongoing scrap reduction, cycle time reduction, and downtime reduction.
- Ensure adherence to standard processes for data collection, documentation, and reporting.
- Coordinate the efficient use of raw materials and ingredients in making products.
- Manage daily operations through KPI, problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement to achieve KPI targets.
- Support and manage continuous improvement activities in safety, environmental, quality, cost, efficiency, and productivity objectives.
- Partner and coordinate with Engineering, Materials, Maintenance, and other internal departments to resolve issues and concerns.
- Coach and mentor the supervisors on standard work, problem-solving, and continuous improvement and effectively manage their performance.
- Ensure production teams utilize standardized work and consistent work practices across shifts and areas.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- 6+ years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
- Stator, Motor, and Inverter or Battery Systems manufacturing background.
- Fluent with CAD programs (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Experience developing and managing Capital Budget.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- A strong sense of urgency and commitment to production.
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a positive attitude.
- Passion and responsibility.
- Fluent with standard MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical assembly drawings and accurately measure and inspect tolerances.
- Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
- Results-oriented written and verbal communication skills.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and employ sound business judgment.
- Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs).
- Proven interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Bilingual in English and Korean.

Working Conditions:
- Incumbent works 8 to 10-hour shifts with occasional weekend assignments.
- The employee may need to move around the production floor frequently.
- Overtime may be required as needed.
