Production Supervisor – Food & Beverage Manufacturing
Scarborough, ON
$55K – $75K


Our client, a rapidly growing beverage manufacturing company, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and product quality while managing a team of technicians, operators, and general labor staff.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and schedule production staff, ensuring all production targets are met.
  2. Coordinate production activities with a focus on safety, quality, environmental standards, and output volume.
  3. Manage line changeovers to optimize efficiency.
  4. Train new employees on equipment operation, procedures, and reporting.
  5. Review and approve daily production reports.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment, materials, and personnel issues.
  7. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  8. Oversee sanitation and cleaning procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  9. Provide input on personnel decisions, including hiring and promotions.
  10. Hands-on involvement in mechanical and engineering-related problem-solving.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a food, beverage, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  2. Strong mechanical and engineering background with expertise in troubleshooting.
  3. Experience with powder packaging (cans, pouches, bags), blending, and liquid packaging (bottles).
  4. Ability to train and develop operators and technicians in packaging and processing line operations.
  5. Familiarity with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, maintenance, and productivity.
  6. Certifications in Forklift Training, First Aid, and WHMIS are an asset.
