We currently have an opening for a Process/Production Supervisor based out of our location in Moose Jaw, SK.

The Process/Production Supervisor provides leadership and direction to all employees to meet our customers' needs, maintaining quality, food safety, and the health and safety of our employees.

Responsibilities

1. Plans manpower requirements.
2. Provides leadership and direct supervision to employees.
3. Manages safe, cost-effective, efficient production.
4. Continuously improve manufacturing process, efficiencies, and quality.
5. Ensures compliance with Company policies, federal and provincial legislation.
6. Provides a safe working environment for all employees, and compliance with the Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Company operating procedures and policies.
7. Ensures the quality of our product, ensuring all HACCP, CFIA, and Food Safe regulations are followed.
8. Maintains a positive employee relations environment.
9. Leads by example, providing leadership by setting team goals and objectives.

Requirements

1. 5 years experience in logistics and freight movement.
2. Great interpersonal skills and a great leader; good listening skills.
3. Self-directing, motivated, and passionate.
4. Experience in meat processing.
5. Familiar with business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources).
6. Knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and inventory stewardship.
7. Ability to set goals and create accountability. Lead by example.
8. Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.
9. Organized and ability to adhere to deadlines.
10. Excellent communication skills (written/spoken).
11. Bachelor of Commerce an asset.
12. Working knowledge of WorkSafeSask regulations.
