Job Description
The Production Scheduler will be based in a central supply chain office, managing the Master Production Schedule for multiple facilities. This role will involve preparing optimized schedules and maintaining inventories that support a Make-to-Stock environment; finished goods purchases, inter-company transfers and related transactions within the ERP system. In this position, you will be supporting cross-functional collaboration, assisting in project management, and contributing to the overall development of Supply Chain capabilities and efficiencies through reporting for facilities and Key Performance Indicators.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE:
Manage production schedules for both commercial and residential businesses using planning templates and JD Edwards.
Collaborate closely with Supply Planners to meet customer and business expectations by adhering to the supply plan and Master Production Schedule.
Oversee intercompany finished goods transfers for assigned product categories.
Generate reports related to Supply Planning and Scheduling.
Serve as a backup for other planning positions.
Lead the analysis of key planning standards, including production rates, safety stock, and inventory targets.
Facilitate regular planning calls, working with plants to provide schedules that enhance efficiency (e.g., color changes, family transitions, and run lengths).
Lead IKO’s Excellence projects to achieve strategic objectives and manage cross-functional projects to improve interdepartmental performance (Logistics, Raw Materials, and Customer Service).
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in scheduling, demand management, capacity, and/or supply planning. A minimum of 2 years of experience with demonstrated leadership capability.
Experience with MRP, large-scale ERP, or planning systems.
High proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and data visualization tools.
Excellent understanding of upstream and downstream supply chain processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work cooperatively across multiple functions.
Comfortable with team-based work structures and able to demonstrate flexibility on the job.
Demonstrates initiative, conscientiousness, and complete follow-through on responsibilities.
Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and presentation skills.
APICS or other forecasting/Supply Chain Certification preferred.
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) certification is an asset.
