General Description: This primary function of this position is to link the product and business needs of the Canadian business to the global Product Line Management structure and processes. Specifically, the Canadian Product Marketing Manager will ensure process alignment with the global New Product Development (NPD), channel strategy (i.e. TRUBlue), strategic pricing, and overall Product Lifecycle Management processes.
As such, the Canadian PMM will be responsible for the financial performance, strategic planning, and execution throughout the lifecycle of the products in the Canadian portfolio. The PMM serves as the business manager and leader for the products and acts as the primary conduit to the global PLM structure to ensure process consistency and incorporation of the Canadian products into the global product portfolio. The Canadian PMM will lead cross-functional product teams in the execution of product line strategies.
