Production Manager

This Canadian Manufacturing company is looking for a Manager to lead their Production and Supply Chain operations. Working alongside the Engineering team, you will be responsible for a reliable and efficient Supply Chain and Manufacturing process using advanced lean principles.

This is a growing company with multiple business streams, leading to a diverse challenging role. Due to the rapid growth of the business, career advancement and development is expected in this role within the first year.

They are seeking someone with a strong manufacturing background from the automotive sector or similar. You will be responsible for a team of 8 supervisors and 100 staff to maintain an efficient 24/7 manufacturing site. You must be an experienced manager and have up-to-date knowledge of current health and safety rules and processes in a heavy manufacturing environment.

They are seeking someone who can control the inventory of parts and move it efficiently through the production process.

As the ideal candidate you will have:

• 10+ years’ Manufacturing/Operations/Production experience
• Strong Management experience including knowledge of HR laws and Labour Relations
• Experience of leading large manufacturing teams
• Experience of Lean Manufacturing
• Strong ERP knowledge
• Experience managing a P&L
